The contracting entity and governing law

You contract with WebStreaming, LLC, registered in Nevada, with a registered address at 401 Ryland Street, Reno, NV 89502, United States. Payment is made in USD to a US bank account. The engineering team itself is based in Argentina — we tell you that up front rather than leaving you to find out later. By default, the contract is governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA. Where your legal team requires it, we'll sign under your own jurisdiction's governing law instead — and larger clients usually bring their own terms, which is fine by us.

If a disagreement comes up, we don't jump straight to a courtroom: the parties negotiate in good faith for 30 days first, then move to mediation if that doesn't resolve it, and only take it to the courts of whichever state's law governs the contract as a last resort.

Currency, invoicing and payment terms

All pricing is quoted and invoiced in USD. Embedded engineering teams are invoiced monthly in advance, due upon receipt. Fixed-price project work is billed 30% on signature, with the remainder invoiced against agreed milestones, each milestone invoice due upon receipt. For tax documentation, we provide a Form W-8BEN-E, and because you're contracting with a US entity and paying a US bank account, there's no cross-border payment friction on your side.

Intellectual property

You own everything built for you. Ownership is assigned to you on payment, and the code lives in your repository, under your organization, from the first commit — not in ours, waiting to be handed over at the end.

Non-disclosure

An NDA is signed before the first call that touches specifics — yours or ours, whichever your legal team prefers. Nothing about your system, your data or your roadmap goes into a proposal, a case study, or a conversation with anyone outside the engagement.

Professional liability insurance

We don't currently hold professional liability (errors & omissions) insurance. Where a client contract requires it, we put coverage in place before work starts as part of vendor onboarding.

// subcontracting

Subcontracting and the vetted network

A core team leads architecture and owns delivery. When scope needs a specialist, we draw from a vetted network rather than hiring cold — but every person who touches your engagement, core team or network, works under WebStreaming's own NDA and IP assignment. There is no subcontractor who isn't bound by the same terms as we are.

Data handling and access

Engineers get least-privilege access scoped to what their part of the system needs. Production secrets live in a secrets manager, never in a repository or a laptop's environment file, and production data doesn't leave your infrastructure to sit on an engineer's machine. Offboarding and handover

Offboarding revokes repository, infrastructure and credential access the same day an engagement ends. Handover includes documentation of what was built and why, and — because the code has lived in your repository from day one — there is no separate code transfer step to get wrong.

Security questionnaires

We complete your security questionnaire, not the other way around. Where your organization has its own compliance regime — SOC 2 scoping, a vendor risk framework, a specific data residency requirement — we work inside it rather than asking you to work inside ours.
