Start a project

// what we collect

What is collected

The start a project and hire engineers forms are the only place this site collects personal data. Between them, they ask for your name, work email, company, details about the project or the team you're hiring for, and whatever you write in the message field. There is no other data-collection point on the site — no newsletter sign-up, no account, no tracking pixel tied to an identity.

// why

Why we collect it

To read your enquiry, reply to it, and — if it turns into a project or an engagement — to carry that engagement out. We don't use it for anything else: not marketing, not resale, not profiling.

// where it goes

Where it goes

A submission is stored on WebStreaming's own server and emailed to the company through its own mail server. It does not pass through a third-party form service, a marketing platform or a CRM — nobody outside WebStreaming receives it as part of that flow.

// analytics

Analytics

Traffic to this site is measured with self-hosted analytics. It sets no cookies, doesn't track you across other sites, and isn't used to build an advertising profile of you. That's also why there's no cookie banner: there's nothing here that requires one.

// retention

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as they may be relevant to a possible or existing engagement, with no fixed expiry date. If you want yours deleted, ask us through the form at /start and we will delete it.

// your rights

Your rights over your data

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Because no email address is published on this site, the way to reach us for any of that is the same form we use for everything else: start a project. Tell us it's a privacy request and what you'd like done, and we'll act on it. We honour access and deletion requests regardless of where you live — we don't gate them behind a particular jurisdiction's law.

// who we are

Who the data controller is

WebStreaming, LLC, a Nevada limited liability company, is the controller for the data described on this page. Its registered address is 401 Ryland Street, Reno, NV 89502, United States.

// sub-processors

Who else touches it

Three categories of infrastructure handle this data on our behalf, none of them a third-party form or marketing tool: our own mail server (to deliver the enquiry), our own self-hosted analytics (to measure traffic, not to identify you), and our cloud hosting provider (to run the server the site and the forms live on).

// how we describe this

No compliance badge, just the practice

We don't claim GDPR or CCPA "compliance" here — that's a label, not a description of what happens to your data. What's on this page is what actually happens, and we'll honour an access, correction or deletion request from anyone, anywhere, on that basis.
